Centered on the 1,730-acre Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir formed by damming Bald Eagle Creek, it blends forests, fields, and wetlands at the Allegheny Plateau's edge with Ridge and Valley terrain. Recreation includes boating, fishing, swimming at a beach, two campgrounds, the LEED Gold-certified Nature Inn, 11 miles of trails for hiking and biking, hunting, and prime bald eagle and wildlife viewing year-round.
