Established in 1966 and celebrated for its exceptionally clear, 90-foot-deep waters teeming with trout, splake, and smallmouth bass, the park offers a modern campground with 178 shaded sites, overnight lodging, a sandy swim beach, boat launches, disc golf, hiking trails, picnicking, and a playground.
Nestled in Michigan's elk country where bugling echoes through early mornings and evenings especially in spring and fall, it uniquely permits ORV access from the campground to nearby Atlanta ORV routes and the Michigan Cross Country Cycle Trail.
