It offers camping with 47 tent/trailer sites and 24 lean-tos, plus flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, swimming, boating with a trailer launch, fishing, picnicking in grassy areas with a stone pavilion, volleyball, swings, and birdwatching in a quiet, historic setting.
Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the park sits in an area with over 7,500 years of human history, near Chimney Point State Historic Site and remnants of early European settlement.
