Named for early landowner Moses Dillon, who built Zanesville's famed Y-Bridge after buying the site in 1803, it features Blackhand sandstone formations, reverting farmlands, and abundant wildlife like white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, waterfowl, and bald eagles.
Recreation centers on the 1,560-acre lake with unlimited horsepower boating, a marina, multiple ramps, fishing, swimming beach, plus 195-site campground, 29 cabins, extensive hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, hunting areas, disc golf, picnicking, sports courts, sledding hill, and stargazing.
