Eastside Cannery Casino-Hotel was a locals-oriented resort on the Boulder Strip in Sunrise Manor, Nevada, opened on August 28, 2008, by Cannery Casino Resorts on the site of the former Nevada Palace casino.
The $250 million property featured a 63,876-square-foot casino with over 2,000 slots, 26 table games, poker room, keno, and a race and sports book, plus a 16-story tower with 307 rooms, a bingo hall, three restaurants, a lounge, and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
Acquired by Boyd Gaming in 2016 for $230 million alongside its sister Cannery North Las Vegas, it closed permanently after the March 2020 COVID-19 shutdowns due to insufficient demand—its customers shifting to nearby Sam's Town—and Boyd announced demolition plans in October 2025 for potential redevelopment like housing.
