Harrah's Reno is a historic casino hotel in downtown Reno, Nevada, originally opened in 1946 by Bill Harrah as Harrah's Club at 219 North Center Street after starting with bingo parlors in 1937. It expanded through the 1960s with property acquisitions reaching Center Street, added a 326-room hotel tower in 1969, and became the first publicly traded gaming company in 1971 under Harrah's Entertainment, now owned by Caesars. Today it offers around 780 rooms, a large casino floor with slots, table games, poker, a sportsbook, multiple dining options including Ruth's Chris Steak House, a showroom for entertainment, pool, and spa, remaining a key landmark near the Reno Arch.
