Hyner View State Park is a small 6-acre Pennsylvania state park atop a mountain in Chapman Township, Clinton County, offering one of the state's finest scenic overlooks 1,300 feet above the West Branch Susquehanna River valley at 1,940 feet elevation.
Located 6 miles east of Renovo and 3 miles north of Hyner along Pennsylvania Route 120—also known as Bucktail State Park Natural Area—it is entirely surrounded by vast Sproul State Forest and features a stone observation wall built by Civilian Conservation Corps workers in the 1930s.
Open daily for picnicking, photography, hang gliding launches popular with enthusiasts on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, and hiking trails from easy walks to challenging routes like the Donut Hole Trail amid forested ridges.
