It features five camping areas with RV sites offering water and electric hookups, tent pads, primitive group camps, modern cabins, comfort stations with showers, dump station, picnic shelters, playgrounds, a swimming beach, water spray park, lighted boat ramps, fishing docks, and a nature center.
Popular for hiking and mountain biking on wooded trails, boating, water skiing, bass and catfish fishing, hunting in nearby wildlife areas, birdwatching, and fall foliage viewing, it draws nearly 850,000 visitors yearly for family-friendly outdoor recreation amid historic Choctaw light-horsemen legacy.
