Marsh Creek State Park spans 1,705 acres in Upper Uwchlan and Wallace Townships of Chester County, Pennsylvania, centered on the 535-acre Marsh Creek Lake with an average depth of 40 feet.
Developed from 1964 to manage Brandywine Creek watershed flooding and shortages by inundating the former Milford Mills village, it opened in 1974 for boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, ice sports, and sailing, adding a pool and day-use areas by 1979. The park welcomes non-powered or electric boats, rentals for canoes and paddle boats, hunting on 900 acres for deer, squirrels, pheasant, rabbits, and waterfowl, plus trails through woodlands and meadows rich in birds and wildlife.
