Features include a sandy swimming beach (now permanently closed), picnic areas with reservable shelters and grills, a boat ramp for no-wake motorized and non-motorized vessels like kayaks and canoes, fishing for trout, bass, perch, and pickerel, disc golf, ball fields, horseshoe pits, and gentle walking trails for wildlife viewing of deer, beavers, and migratory birds.
Currently walk-in only with the Route 9 gate closed, no restrooms, and limited facilities, it supports year-round hiking, biking, snowshoeing, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and hunting per state regulations in a serene setting with stocked brook trout upstream.
