Park
Pisgah State Park is New Hampshire's largest state park at over 13,300 acres, spanning the Cheshire County towns of Winchester, Chesterfield, and Hinsdale.
It features rugged forested terrain with a complete watershed north of the Ashuelot River, including seven ponds ideal for fishing like Pisgah Reservoir and Kilburn Pond, four highland ridges reaching up to 1,381 feet at Hubbard Hill, and numerous wetlands.
The park offers 55 miles of multi-use trails from six trailheads for year-round hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV use, and snowmobiling, with gates closed during mud season and no entry fees required.
