Named after the Rasar family and dedicated in 1997, it features second-growth forests, grassy meadows, 3.7 miles of easy hiking trails including an ADA-accessible mile-long path, family-friendly camping with 54 sites plus cabins, fishing, wildlife viewing especially winter bald eagles, and interpretive programs.
Open year-round from 8 a.m. to dusk with modern amenities like restrooms, showers, a playground, and amphitheater, it requires a Discover Pass for day use.
