Umpqua Lighthouse State Park is a 326-acre coastal gem in Douglas County, Oregon, USA, located six miles southwest of Reedsport along U.S. Highway 101 near Winchester Bay, centered around scenic Lake Marie within the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
It offers 43 campsites with full hookups, 65 tent sites, eight yurts, two cabins, hot showers, flush toilets, a dump station, and day-use picnicking on a small sandy beach, with non-motorized boating, fishing, paddling, and hiking trails amid shore pines and dunes.
Just a half-mile from the historic 65-foot Umpqua River Lighthouse—open for tours May through September with its distinctive red-and-white flashing lens—and close to Salmon Harbor Marina for crabbing and fishing, it's a perfect base for dune buggy adventures, whale watching, and central Oregon Coast exploration.
