Beachside State Recreation Site is a compact 29-acre coastal campground in Lincoln County, Oregon, USA, located 3 miles south of Waldport and 5 miles north of Yachats along U.S. Highway 101 on the expansive Wakonda Beach.
Open seasonally from March 15 to October 31, it provides 32 electrical sites with water, 42 tent sites, two yurts (one pet-friendly), hiker/biker camping, hot showers, flush toilets, firewood sales, and every site just steps from the broad sandy beach ideal for kite flying, whale watching, storm viewing, sunsets, beachcombing, and agate hunting.
Positioned as a convenient midpoint on the Oregon coast, it offers easy access to nearby attractions like tide pools, lighthouses, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, hiking trails, crabbing, clamming, and fishing within 30 miles.
