Park
Crowley's Ridge State Park is a 291-acre recreational area in Greene County, Arkansas, situated atop the unique geological formation of Crowley's Ridge.
Established in 1933 as one of the state's original six parks, it occupies the historic homesite of pioneer Benjamin F. Crowley and features rustic stone and wood structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. The park is well-known for its two spring-fed lakes, including a 31-acre lake for fishing and a popular swimming area, as well as a variety of hiking trails such as the Dancing Rabbit Trail, which is known for its scenic swinging bridges.
Visitors can take advantage of numerous amenities, including 26 campsites, multiple types of cabins for lodging, picnic areas, and pavilions. Its combination of rich pioneer history, significant CCC-era architecture, and accessible outdoor recreation makes it a popular destination for families and nature enthusiasts in northeastern Arkansas.
