Park
Crowder State Park is a 1,912‑acre Missouri park in the rolling hills of Grundy County, about four miles south of Trenton, centered on the 18‑acre Crowder Lake.
The area was named after Major General Enoch H. Crowder, a prominent Missouri native born nearby, and offers a mix of rugged slopes, deep ravines, and mature forests that stand out from the generally flat farmland around it. Visitors enjoy more than 17 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, family‑oriented camping, picnic sites, fishing and boating on the lake, and a small swimming beach, making it a compact but varied destination for outdoor recreation in northern Missouri.
