Park
Echo Bluff State Park in Missouri spans 476 acres in the scenic Ozarks of Shannon County near Eminence, nestled in a valley dominated by its namesake towering Echo Bluff—a massive Eminence dolomite cliff rising hundreds of feet above crystal-clear Sinking Creek, the Current River's second-largest tributary.
Built on the site of the former Camp Zoe with a $52 million investment after Missouri acquired it in 2013, the park opened in 2016 and offers modern lodging at a cliffside lodge and cabins, plus camping, dining, hiking on over four miles of trails, fishing and swimming in stocked lakes, river floating on the nearby Current River, and access to extensive backcountry paths in the adjacent Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry.
Managed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, it's a family-friendly gateway to Ozark adventures amid oak-hickory-pine forests, just across from Current River State Park.
