It was renamed Silver Wheel Theatre in 1963 but continued to present diverse live shows. After a major renovation and preservation effort completed in 1998, it reopened and now hosts a variety of artistic performances and is a key venue in the Sundance Film Festival, reflecting its cultural significance and architectural uniqueness as one of Utah’s two Egyptian-style theatres.
