Park
Tower Hill State Park is a 77-acre state park in Iowa County, Wisconsin, southeast of Spring Green along the Wisconsin River bluffs, established in 1922 and managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
It centers on the reconstructed Helena Shot Tower, a National Register of Historic Places landmark built in 1832 for manufacturing lead shot by dropping molten lead through a 50-foot shaft into water below, with an adjacent smelting house featuring exhibits on 19th-century operations.
Open May to October, the park offers two miles of hiking trails up bluffs for panoramic river views, picnicking in a historic pavilion, a small campground with 10 sites, canoe landing, and access to the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway.
