Park
Whitefish Dunes State Park spans 867 acres on the eastern shore of Wisconsin's Door Peninsula near Sturgeon Bay, preserving the largest sand dunes on Lake Michigan's western shore, including "Old Baldy," the state's tallest at 93 feet, alongside fragile ecosystems, prehistoric Native American village sites on the National Register of Historic Places, and adjacent Cave Point County Park accessed by shoreline trails.
