Authorized in 2000, it offers eight park units with miles of paved bike trails including the Capital City State Trail, natural hiking paths with boardwalks and interpretive signs, groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe routes, a boat launch, paddle sport access, fishing spots, modern camping, an 18-hole disc golf course on a glacial drumlin, and a 22-acre off-leash dog park with accessible trails.
